Company History

May of 1978: Butler Surveying, Inc is founded as Hobbs and Associates, Inc. Principal surveyors at the founding were Mike Hobbs, Edward Butler and Ronald Zenkner.

June of 1983: Mike Hobbs leaves the firm and the company is renamed Butler & Zenkner Land Surveyors, Inc.
December of 1997: Edward Butler assumes full control of the company upon the departure of Ronald Zenkner. In December of 1998 the company is renamed Butler Surveying, Inc.

June of 2000: Christopher Butler becomes a licensed land surveyor and joins the firm as a part owner.

December of 2006: Christopher Butler purchases the remaining stock of Butler Surveying, Inc. upon the retirement of Edward Butler.
